Opening of The Senior Production Management Short Course Given at Ethio-China Cement Training Workshop
In responding to China’s ‘The Belt and Road Initiative’ economic development strategy, ‘The Senior Production Management Short Course Given at the Ethio-China Cement Training Workshop’ were held in the capital of Ethiopia-Addis Ababa on March 13, 2017, which was jointly organized by Ethiopian Cement Association and CNBM Smart Industry Technology Co., Ltd. In line with this initiative, nearly 50 senior management staff from large Ethiopian cement companies attended this training workshop. Mr. Shang Jianping who is the GM of Operation & Management Department from CNBM Smart, he opened the workshop by given an elaboration on the training workshop. Mr. Haile who is the Chairman of Ethiopian Cement Manufacturer Association, also took time to come to the workshop and gave his speech.

The workshop is aimed for professional training on management level after ‘2017 Ethio-China Cement Forum’ was successfully held. Forum reports were given by those invited guests from China.
“The Overview of China Cement Industry” was given by Ms. Chen Fei who is from International Cooperation Affairs of China Cement Association.
“The Training and Evaluation of Chinese Skilled Talents” was given by Mr. Li Jiang who is the Deputy Director of Industrial Technology Supervision Center of Chinese Building Material.
“The Current Situation of Vocational Education Development of Chinese Building Material Engineering (Cement) Major” was given by Pro. Zuo Mingyang from Mianyang Polytechnic.
The invited experts- Mr. Xie Keping, Mr.Zhang Dakang, Mr.Chen Jiabin and Mr. Shang Jianping, who have rich practical experience in cement industry are invited for the 5-days’ management level training workshop. The training workshop is organized in the form of lectures and Q&A session using an interactive approach between experts and the trainees. The intention of this training workshop is to share advanced methods of cement production management from China cement industry to Ethiopian counterparts.

Mr. Chen Jiabin is specially invited expert by CNBM Group with senior engineer title, made in-depth lectures on operation and troubleshooting on equipment management system.

The trainees received official certificate jointly issued by Ethiopia Ministry of Industry, Ethiopia Ministry of Science and Technology and CNBM Group. Hopefully after one-week training, they will be greatly enhanced the Ethiopian cement production management capabilities as well as the cohesion of enterprises with better competitiveness and the overall qualities.
